Multiple Myeloma
Details : A cancer of plasma cells in bone marrow. GcMad and stem cells work well together:
Research Status : More studies needed but GcMaf shows promising:
- Activates macrophages to target and destroy cancer cells.
- Reduces tumor growth by inhibiting cancer cell proliferation.
- Enhances the immune system’s ability to fight cancer.
- Decreases inflammation associated with cancer progression.
- Reduces the levels of nagalase, an enzyme that helps cancer evade the immune system.
- Improves overall immune response and resilience.
- Supports the repair and regeneration of healthy tissues.
- 8. Enhances the effectiveness of conventional cancer treatments.
- Reduces the risk of metastasis by targeting cancer cells throughout the body.
- Improves energy levels and reduces fatigue.
- Enhances overall quality of life for individuals with thyroid cancer.
- Supports the body’s natural defense mechanisms.
- Reduces the progression of cancer.
- Improves gut health, which can be compromised in cancer patients.
- Enhances detoxification processes in the body.
- Reduces oxidative stress, which can damage healthy cells.
- Supports healthy liver function, important for detoxification.
- Improves mental clarity and cognitive function.
- Reduces the risk of cancer-related complications.
GcMAF (Gc Protein-Derived Macrophage Activating Factor) has been studied for its potential effects on various cancers, including multiple myeloma.
A study investigated the effects of GcMAF on human multiple myeloma cells (KMS-12-BM) and human macrophages (CRL9853). The results showed that GcMAF decreased the viability of multiple myeloma cells in a dose-dependent manner. Additionally, GcMAF activated human macrophages, which then phagocytosed (engulfed and digested) the myeloma cancer cells. This dual action—direct inhibition of cancer cell viability and activation of macrophages—suggested that GcMAF could be a promising immunotherapeutic agent. I therefore trialed this in our clinic.
We have many case studies from our clinic where GcMAF is one of the therapies that we implement.
